FAQ

What is the best moment to have my maternity session?

The best moment to have your maternity session done is after you reach 31 weeks of pregnancy.

Do you have gowns available?

Yes, I have gowns available and that’s one of the reasons for the pre session meeting – you can try them on and we can talk about location and clothes for other participants.

What do I need to bring to my maternity session?

If the session is scheduled to happen inside the Studio, you don’t need to bring anything. In the case of an outdoor location, you should bring water bottles and snacks to help you fill energetic during the session.

What is the ideal age for newborn sessions?

The ideal age for a newborn session is 15 days of life or less. I really prefer to work with babies that are 8 to 12 days old, but after the Covid-19 lockdown I’ve had really good experiences photographing older babies, up to 2 months old.

What kind of equipment do you use?

I’m a Nikon user. For outdoor sessions I usually shoot with a 70-200mm / f2.8. I love that lens. And for newborn sessions I use a 35mm / f1.4. It’s fantastically bright and sharp, and I can be side by side with the baby, making the session a lot safer. Last, I always carry in my bag a 50mm / f1.8, a 85mm / f1.8, a 18-70mm / f3.5 and a 105mm / f2.8 macro.

Do I have to order prints through you?

No, you don’t have to order them from me, but I have some really nice albums and I can do an amazing job for you.
